Woman's Missionary Union
Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) is an self-governing, self-supporting auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention. Founded in 1888, WMU has become the largest Protestant missions organization for women in the world, with a membership of approximately one million. WMU's main purpose is to educate and involve adults and youth in the cause of Christian missions.
Women on Mission® is one of several age-appropriate organizations supported by WMU. It is a missions organization in which women (ages 18 and up) pray for and give to missions, do missions, and learn about missions work. Shiloh's women's ministry offerings include a Women on Missions group that meet in members' homes to study and pray for missionaries. See our calendar for specific schedules.
