Who will be crowned "2009 Best Chili Cooker" at Shiloh? Bring your concoction to Shiloh by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14th, for our chili cook-off. All proceeds from this meal will go toward the mortgage principal for the Family Life Center. Please contact the church office if you will be preparing and donating chili for this event. |
Through your generous donations to the Building Fund, Shiloh has significantly reduced the balance on the Family Life Center mortgage. By cashing in a CD and applying excess Building Fund money to the loan principal, the mortgage balance has dropped from $644,329 at the end of August to $459,658 by year end. Organized in 1855, Shiloh Baptist Church is conveniently located on Kings Highway (Route 3) in eastern King George county. We offer many services, activities and opportunities throughout the week. In addition to our Sunday morning worship service, we offer Sunday school classes, prayer services, men's groups and women's groups. Join us Wednesday evenings for Wonderful World on Wednesday programs.
